Privacy Policy — Amsterdam: Red Light History Amsterdam: Red Light History is published by Zzip Apps. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data. NO ACCOUNT, NO TRACKING The app has no sign-up, no user accounts and no advertising. We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not sell or share personal data with anyone. LOCATION If you allow it, your location is used only on your device to sort stops by distance and to show your position on the map. It is never sent to our servers or stored. You can decline or revoke the permission at any time in your phone settings; the app keeps working without it. FAVOURITES, VISITED STOPS AND SETTINGS Saved stops, visited stops, your language choice and your acceptance of the terms are stored only on your device. Deleting the app removes them. CONTENT FROM OUR SERVER Stop texts, translations, map tiles and audio narration are downloaded from our server when you open them, or all at once if you choose “Download” for offline use. Like any web request, this reveals your IP address and the language you selected; we use this only to deliver content and keep no user profiles. Offline downloads are stored only on your device and can be deleted from the You tab or by removing the app. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES Map tiles come from OpenStreetMap, photos from Wikimedia Commons and Unsplash, and ticket links open GetYourGuide in your browser (affiliate links; we may earn a commission at no cost to you). Each of these has its own privacy policy that applies once you use their service. AGE & CHILDREN This app deals with adult historical subject matter and is intended for users aged 17 and over. It is not directed at children and we knowingly collect no data from anyone. CHANGES If this policy changes, the new version will appear here and in the app with an updated date.
